I am a Colorado native. I grew up in the small town of Berthoud, Colorado and have served women and children in Northern Colorado since the beginning of my health care career in 2004. I have always had a passion for women’s care, pregnancy, and birth. After several years of working as a Labor and Delivery nurse, I attended Frontier Nursing University and obtained my Master of Science degree in Nursing and my certification as a Nurse Midwife in 2020.
It is my desire to partner with patients and empower them to make informed health care decisions. I strive to create a safe space for patients to discuss any health care concerns. I want patients to feel heard and respected as we build a partnership based on trust. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families in a personal way that allows them to feel comfortable each time they walk into the clinic.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, grandchildren and friends. I love to hike, fish, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new places and cultures.
