Our Physicians

The Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado is one of the longest continuous obstetrics practices in the Northern Colorado region. Our team of physicians primarily focuses on women’s health, highly trained and well-established in obstetrics and gynecology. Our board-certified physicians are devoted to providing exceptional, personalized health care and are here to guide women’s health needs for every life change, from adolescence to motherhood and the transition through menopause. All of our physicians are specialized gynecological surgeons capable of managing surgical and medical treatment for various gynecologic issues and pelvic disorders. The physicians at The Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado offer a complete range of evidence-based women’s health care services and support our patients deserve in a caring and compassionate environment.

Hospitalist Physicians

The term OB/GYN Hospitalists most commonly refers to an obstetrician–gynecologist who has minimal outpatient and elective surgical responsibilities, and whose primary role is to care for hospitalized obstetric patients and to help manage obstetric emergencies that occur in the hospital. An ob-gyn hospitalist also may provide urgent gynecologic care and consultation to the emergency department or hospital inpatient services. Our Hospitalist Physicians work with hospitals to ensure access to quality gynecological care even during other medical scenarios.

Our Nurse Practitioners

Our certified nurse practitioners collaborate with our team of OB/GYN physicians to provide advanced, individualized care throughout all ages and many stages of a woman’s life. Nurse practitioners are vital in a woman’s life because they specialize in prenatal care, family planning, menstrual disorders, menopause, and other gynecological needs, with a primary emphasis on disease prevention, education, and promoting wellness. They are highly experienced and trained to conduct examinations and assessments, diagnose and treat illnesses, and help guide women through life’s important milestones by teaching them how to maintain their health.

Nurse-Midwives

The Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado has a versatile and experienced team of certified nurse-midwives that provide women with individualized prenatal and postpartum care. Our nurse-midwives offer exceptional guidance and treatment throughout the entire pregnancy process, from preconception to taking your newborn baby home for the first time and beyond. Midwives establish a personal relationship with expecting mothers and are highly involved in the stages of childbirth because of their skilled advanced practice and specialized training in delivering babies. Nurse-midwives work closely with OB/GYN physicians and other specialists and are also capable of providing routine gynecological treatments and wellness exams along with family planning and contraceptive counseling. Your close connection with one of our compassionate nurse-midwives means you’ll receive the personalized care, encouragement, and professional support you deserve throughout your pregnancy.

Physician Assistants

The staff at Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado includes talented and highly experienced physician assistants who provide focused care for our patients. Our certified physician assistants are trained healthcare providers who work closely with our OB/GYN physicians to conduct routine exams, provide diagnostic care, prescribe medication, and develop treatment plans. They build strong relationships with patients and help maintain patients’ wellness while navigating them through the many health changes and challenges women face. Physician assistants play an invaluable role in our team of healthcare professionals, and their collaboration with our licensed physicians means you’ll be treated with a complete range of specialty healthcare services and thorough patient care.
