I was born in southeast Missouri in the small town of Poplar Bluff. I earned a bachelors degree in biology and then moved to Kansas City where I finished medical school. It was during medical school that I discovered my true passion for women’s health care. I finished my residency in Detroit before moving to Fort Collins.
Fort Collins has become my home and many of my family members joined me here. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two dogs. We try to take advantage of all Colorado has to offer. Hiking and breweries in the summer and skiing in the winter.
My love for women’s healthcare was sparked after experiencing my first delivery as a medical student. I then dove deep into the specialty and truly found my passion. I enjoy following women from the early in their life to their golden years. I am a trained robotic surgeon and love my time spent in the operating room. Some of my focuses include treatment of endometriosis, heavy bleeding, menopause, contraception, and pregnancy. I encourage all my patients to have a voice in their own care and enjoy forming long relationships to foster this.
