I am a Colorado native, born and raised in this beautiful state. I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. After graduation, I traveled to Uganda, Africa for 10 weeks working in a rural hospital. It was there that I fell in love with women’s health and the beauty of a new life coming into this world. After I returned home I decided to go back to school at Regis University for my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with the intention of becoming a Nurse Midwife. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing for Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.
I am passionate about women’s health and love building strong relationships with the women that I get to care for. I love educating and empowering women to take control of their health and wellness. I enjoy taking care of women throughout all the stages of their lives. I feel particularly honored to be able to share the midwifery model of care during labor and birth and to be a part of welcoming in new life.
When I am not at work I try to soak up as much family time with my two kids as possible. I enjoy training for triathlons; one of my greatest accomplishments is completing the Florida Ironman with my Dad.
I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story!
