A dear friend of mine had her baby at home, and it sparked in me a passion to find out as much as I could about midwives and birth. I already had a degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University (2001). I became certified and taught prenatal exercise classes & started training to become a doula, but quickly realized I wanted to do much more! I completed my Nursing degree at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 2008 & worked as an Emergency RN for seven years. In 2015 I achieved my Masters degree in nursing and midwifery at Frontier Nursing University.
I started my midwifery career at a busy practice in Indianapolis, IN serving a diverse urban population. In 2018, I joined the Women’s Clinic family when my husband and I relocated to Fort Collins. It is my honor to help clients feel confident and empowered in their care. Whether it be a gynecological issue, or pregnancy and birth planning, I want to provide you with accurate and informative resources so we can make the best decisions about your care together.
I am a fierce advocate for trauma-informed care, gender inclusivity, and personal bodily autonomy.
My husband, Zach, and I enjoy getting out to see live music, traveling, and hiking, or just relaxing with our Lab mix, Millie.
